My art career started in 2000 when by chance I discovered I had been given a gift. The gift of sculpting! Since that time I have explored many sculpting mediums such as clay, wool, fabric, paper, cast bronze as well as developing a cold cast "BronzeD' method that is being patented.

I do re-cycle many things to make art and think it important to use what we have to express ourselves.

I am fortunate to be associated with renowned Sculptor Preston Jackson who continues to challenge and teach me how to reach new heights with my art.

I have been featured in the Peoria Journal Star numerous times. I have written for-and been published in three artist magazines. Chosen as the 2006 Treasure Chest Gem presented by Arts Partners of Central Illinois and WEEK-TV 25. I was awarded Second place during the Illinois Art Leagues Art Festival 2007.
